The adventure begins on the Osa Peninsula with wildlife everywhere you look, as you boat through mangroves, walk jungle trails in Corcovado National Park, and snorkel in a marine reserve. Then follow your leaders to the fabulous Monteverde Cloud Forest, looking for resplendent quetzals, hummingbirds, toucans, and more perched among bromeliads, mosses, and orchids. Next it’s on to Arenal Volcano to traverse the forest canopy on aerial bridges. The last leg of your journey takes you down the Pacuare River for some exciting whitewater rafting and an unforgettable, off-the-grid eco-lodge.
“Nature enthusiasts will love this trip. Your trip leaders, Steve Gehman and Betsy Robinson, bring a distinct energy to the journey with their passion for sharing the outdoors.” –Pam Bryan, Off the Beaten Path co-founder
