Meet Iditarod veteran and special OBP friend Mary Shields and her sled dogs near Fairbanks, then catch the train to Denali National Park for a 2-day stay in a cozy cabin in the heart of the park with unparalleled views of Mt. McKinley. A scenic drive from Denali to Anchorage then on to Seward gives you a tremendous appreciation for this vast, diverse state. From your comfortable base in Seward, you float through a wildlife refuge, hike to Exit Glacier, and experience some breathtaking glacier viewing and wildlife-watching on a boating excursion in the gorgeous Kenai Fjords National Park.
