Trip Motif National Parks Essence Of Yellowstone And Grand Teton : Journey Highlights

The discovery begins in the travertine terraces of Yellowstone’s Mammoth Hot Springs, and sails on with some splashy whitewater rafting on the Yellowstone River. The next day look for rainbows in the waterfall mist at the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, and watch for bison, coyotes, elk, and maybe even a bear in the Hayden Valley. Things heat up with a day of exploring Yellowstone’s colorful hot springs, bubbling mud pots, and spouting geysers. An idyllic boat ride across Jenny Lake in Grand Teton National Park rewards you with stunning views of the Tetons (hike back around the lake if you’d like), and a wildlife-watching float on the beautiful Snake River, under the watchful gaze of the mountains, crowns the adventure.

  • Wildlife: Your guide knows the best places to spot wolves, grizzly and black bears, moose, bison, bald eagles, and more.
  • Natural treasures: See Old Faithful, the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, the Grand Teton, and other iconic landmarks.
  • River floats: Splash down some of the Yellowstone River’s Class II-III rapids on a fun, half-day float, and relax on a quiet Snake River float with striking views and wildlife-watching opportunities.
  • Jackson, WY: Explore on your own in the fine-to-funky galleries, shops, and restaurants of this fun, quirky, historic little town.
