The tallest trees in the world and picture-perfect Yosemite Valley reign on this journey that transcends time and retraces the steps that inspired naturalist and philosopher, John Muir. This trip is a treasure trove of redwood trees, waterfalls, towering rock faces, and sheer – in more ways than one! – beauty. Yosemite National Park boasts it all. This park hosts an embarrassment of riches, and each day, you’ll delight in the iconic landscapes that steal your gaze, including the famous Half Dome, “El Cap,” Glacier Point, Tuolumne Meadows, and Yosemite Falls. Whatever you do, don’t forget your camera. (Ansel Adams surely didn’t.)
Meet in Fresno, then head straight for Yosemite National Park, spending two nights at the park’s edge, with our days familiarizing ourselves with Yosemite, hiking and exploring. Our last three nights are spent in Yosemite Valley, where we explore more park trails to waterfalls, viewpoints, lakes, and meadows.
By the time you return to Fresno for flights home, you’ll feel a strong connection to one of California’s legendary national parks.
