Sunset Tour — 3 Hours

Sunset on the Grand Canyon

This excursion takes you to the best vantage points at an optimal time for capturing the canyon at sunset.

Itinerary Description

This excursion will offer participants an opportunity to capture the wonders of the Grand Canyon during the sunset hours when the light is optimal for capturing photographic images. It is a good option for individuals who are seeking a shorter version of our Best of the Canyon excursion. Highlights of this trip will include stops at either or both Yavapai Observation Station and Grand View Point, and will culminate with a sunset at the beautiful Desert View Watchtower.

Interpretation of the natural surroundings and associated cultural and geological history will be provided by your naturalist trip leader.

Bring personal camera gear (e.g., camera, tripod, filtering lenses, etc.), as no gear will be provided for use by guides. Group size is limited to 18 (9 persons per trip leader) to allow for more direct, personal contact with your trip leader and to increase the overall comfort and experience of our guests. Appropriate footwear for walking along sometimes uneven walkways and trails is required. Your trip leader will have snacks and water available on the excursion.
